Access Request Instructions for the TxDOT Freight Investment Optimization (FIO) Tool

Please follow these steps:

1. Submit an Access Request
   Complete the access request form on this page, including the email address you wish to use for the tool.
2. Authorization Process
   Our administrators will review your request. Once approved, you will be added as an authorized user.
3. Account Setup with Shinyapps.io
   After approval, you will receive an email from Shinyapps.io to create an account at the address you submitted in the form. This email may look unfamiliar or be filtered into your spam folder, but it is a legitimate request. A sample email is included below for reference.

4. Complete Registration
   Click the link in the Shinyapps.io email to complete your registration. Once registered, you will have access to the FIO tool.
5. Access the Tool
   After completing the above steps, you can access the tool at: https://camsys.shinyapps.io/TXDOT_FIO.
